Player Of The Game Chain

The Sobee Tigers traveled to McNair yesterday and didn't disappoint.  The Tigers got off to a slow start, but once they got rolling, there was no stopping them.  The scoring started with an interception by Jaylin Lilly that he took 50 yards to the house.  Lilly wasn't done by a long shot.  He had an unheard of 3 pick sixes for the game.  Jehovah Oliver hooked up for a pair of touchdown passes to Lilly and Julian Mendoza.  This performance makes Oliver the all time Scobee passing touchdown record holder.  He currently has 10.  Lilly is now the all time Scobee touchdown reception holder with 7.  Julius Garcia and Michael Beltran also ran in touchdowns respectively.  The defense was led by Deon Weaver, who was in the Challenger backfield all day and TyRico Brown, who had 3 boomstick hits.

Jaylin Lilly was interviewed by Robby Chavez...One of Southwest ISD's media representatives.  Lilly was awarded the player of the game chain and his interview will be shown on the district webcast and featured on the district website!

When the dust settled, the Tigers were once again victorious with a whopping 54-0 score.

Next up for the Tigers are the undefeated Bulldogs of Somerset here at home next Tuesday.  Come out and support your Tigers!
